Explore Spices On The Green

Tucked away at Spices On The Green, this inviting spot offers a dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming, with a subtle vintage country club atmosphere that immediately sets it apart from typical roadside eateries. Despite its polished ambiance, guests are greeted with genuine warmth and attentive service, making everyone feel comfortable regardless of how dressed up they arrive. The menu leans into hearty, well-executed classics, with steaks clearly taking center stage-expertly seasoned and grilled to the point where sauces feel unnecessary. Dishes like the New York strip and ribeye are consistently praised for their tenderness and flavor, while seafood options such as fish entrees also deliver impressively. Diners often appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of soup and salad with main courses, adding value and a sense of completeness to the meal. The dining room itself tends to be მშვიდ and relaxed, making it an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely dinner without noise or rush. Desserts, like a rich strawberry cheesecake, round out the experience on a satisfying note. What makes this restaurant particularly special is its “hidden gem” quality-slightly off the beaten path, yet memorable enough that visitors often plan to return when passing through again. The combination of consistently well-prepared food, a calm and comfortable setting, and friendly, attentive service creates an experience that feels both elevated and approachable, especially for those who appreciate a perfectly cooked steak in a setting that balances charm with quiet sophistication.

What a great spot for delicious food. The steak and fish were phenomenal. We loved that it was off the beaten path, soup and salad is included with main entrees, and the service. Do not skip out on the steak! We could have picked our plates clean.

Wow! So glad we happened upon Spices on the Green. Great service, great food, chill atmosphere. Home made tomato basil soup. Truly amazing!!! NY strip and sautéed zucchini presentation was lovely.

This restaurant is a couple of miles out of town at the country club and it is worth the few minutes it takes to find it. We had the filet and shrimp special, which came with a baked potato, salad and soup. It was the most delicious food. The steak was exception. Go there!

Super yummy food and wicked nice people! We are on a cross country road trip and wanted a “real meal.” It’s only a few minutes outside the center of town, but not far at all. After dinner we chatted with some friendly locals who had just come off the golf course (the restaurant is near the Prairie Pines Golf Club) were celebrating a 21st birthday. Highly recommended! #AdventuresOfBrecky

Visiting family in Burlington and we came to Spices on the Green for dinner. The best choice we ever made! Beautiful views of the golf course and sunset outside; inside we found a comfortable, casual, family-friendly environment. The service was top-notch, with friendly and prompt staff. All of our in dinners came with the soup and salad bar that was the freshest that i have ever seen. The homemade blue cheese dressing is to die for by the way. Tonight's soup was tomato Florentine . It was made from⅘ to ⁴ scratch and my son calls it amazing! After that came out meals. We all got our Ribeyes that were aged to deliciousness and so tasty and tender that i did not even need steak sauce. Which was huge. I think they served him an entire chicken. We ordered a creme brule and a chocolate lava cake for desesertwere incredible. Spices on the Greelll<"x is definitely a five-star restaurant. We will be back; i would recommend it to anyone!.

Traveling by, looked at Google maps for eateries, decided on Spices on the Green. We were underdressed for a vintage country club feel environment, but treated kindly by all. Cocktails great, KC Strips' grilled to perfection ~ granddaughter learned when steaks are seasoned to perfection, no sauce is needed! I will most certainly return if the chef hasn't retired by my next trip west!!
